This course is designed to help you think outside the box, To recognise individual and group needs , consider pre-existing health and fitness issue that may be affected when in difficult or remote terrain and conditions. To consider and evaluate what items you may need to carry and ways to improvisation. How to avoid common problems, and ways to respond and treat common illnesses and injuries, how to better you chances of survival while you wait for help to arrive should the worst happen. This course is structured more around the Australian environments. Please note this course does NOT include maps or compass reading skills. This course will help to answer your WHAT IF questions and is tailors to suit different ages and abilities. From adults who are serious about being safe during there outdoor experiences, To a more playful adventurous way for children to learn before there first camp out, or as a holiday program for OSH & kids Clubs and home schooling groups, Youth and scout groups.
These course are both fun and educational.

Course Delivery

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 3 Hours

This course is best suited from 7yrs up to well past retirement age.

Physical and cognitive capacity  would be a consideration dependent on the design of the course.  

This certificate does not require renewal

There are no formal assessments ,Just plenty of opportunities to practise skills 

This course does not lead to a nationally recognised certificate
